Description
This product includes one pre-measured vial of modified PVA and one tube that may be used store stool samples. When applied, ova and parasites are detected even when present in very low numbers. Modified PVA is formulated with copper sulfate as opposed to mercuric chloride, making it a safer solution to work with during fixation and disposal processes. It is specifically effective in the fixation and preservation of protozoan trophozoites when stains are added (typically trichrome or hematoxylin).
